The Field Trip will provide a template enabling teachers to digitally guide their students through virtual field trips that are engaging, interactive and aligned with standards, resulting in measurable learning outcomes and integrated uses of technology. The elements will be combined for an enjoyable and educational first-person point of view that allows students to walk virtually through the halls of the DIA with a knowledgeable docent and earn badges. The project will be designed to be available statewide, replicated in other organizations, uploaded to PBS Learning Media and shared with Public Television stations in Michigan.
