STEAM through Maker & STEM Connections for K-12 Students

Grant recipient: Wayne RESA

This project is a multi-year effort to provide maker training, curriculum, and maker materials to schools within Wayne County in order to build their capacity to create a personalized program to engage, create, and inspire students through hands-on learning. The project goal is to increase STEM awareness and opportunities through project based learning and maker activities. To accomplish this goal, Wayne RESA will provide professional development for teachers, provide funds for schools to purchase maker/STEM/STEAM materials, and connect educators to share experiences and showcase best practices. The project is funded until 2024.
