Connect-Collaborate-Create – A Makerspace For All Students

Grant recipient: Grosse Point Schools

The Makerspace would have computers for coding, 3D printers and scanners, Chromebooks, an interactive whiteboard, and furniture designed for collaboration. The Makerspace will be a place for teachers to take students and guide them through the learning process of creation, connection, and collaborating. The Makerspace will also be designed to support innovative teaching practices that allow for student centered learning. These tools will allow students and teachers more options to diversify their lesson plans.
