Grant recipient: Wayne State University
The project will provide a pathway through which current Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD) substitute teachers who hold bachelor’s degrees can earn a Master’s of Art in Teaching (MAT) degree with elementary certification or secondary certification teacher certification. This will prepare program graduates to step into DPSCD classrooms as rigorously prepared and fully certified teachers.
